REPOST and CORRECTED FILES: I apologize for my post a few weeks ago but thanks to one lone comment on a song numbering error from a fan collector, I went back and did a song split and checked labeling error then found my Live at Max.'s rip from long ago, unzipped double zipped files of boots and live from other blogs, found another zip with alternate mixes and in a Gymnasium, added more videos and organized better. For all your troubles I found a VHS I had got in NYC on a business trip right before running into some friends in the Village by chance and gave it a fresh conversion to MP4 since I had lost the original post. Found a great history comment on another unrelated band that I had kept also:
Quiz: Who was the most influential band of the "disastrous Bosstown sound" during the 1967-69 period? Hint: they weren't as influential in their own hometown.

A: The Velvet Underground. Boston was their adopted hometown and audiences there were far more appreciative of their talents than the jaded Warhol clique & hangers-on who were their original audience in NYC. They played extended club stayovers in Beantown (for real people as opposed to art poseurs) and Reed said that the Boston Tea Party was his favorite venue anywhere.

You may not know this but the vinyl LP "VU" (ie. the first one pictured) has a slight difference on "I Can't Stand It". The LP has a twiddley guitar part on the intro that was missing from all CD releases.

I love the Velvet Underground, an under-rated experimental band with pop roots.
Brian Eno stated that while their debut album only sold approximately 30,000 copies in its first five years, "everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band"
Here are The Quine Tapes
Live recordings, Not studio quality
Hope you all enjoy!!

Hi there and thanks for this amazing post.
Although, looks like two tracks missing from VU.
Track 17 (from Another View LP) & Track 65 (from Once Upon A Time 2LP).
In case you know better if it's just a matter of wrong numbering or if the two tracks are realy missed, please add both on a seperate link if possible.
Well, i'm not a perfectionist but i'd love to hear these too...
Huge thanks for all your hard work here.
Cheers.
