SHANDI - st LP 80

REPOST Request:  What I wrote before:  Kym Ryder got some decent download numbers last week so I thought I should pull out some old new wave-ish stuff to go with it and she is pretty awesome!  Per the comment: Shandi also did the "He's A Dream" song in "Flashdance" (the one where Jennifer Beals gets soaked with water).        https://krakenfiles.com/view/59bokZwqgb/file.html

This is an AMAZING album! I love all of the songs. And Shandi also did the "He's A Dream" song in "Flashdance" (the one where Jennifer Beals gets soaked with water). Too bad she didn't make another album!

Hi Angsty,

Been busy but I wanted to say that I listened to Shandi last week driving around and the lyrics really started to hit me as well as the music and felt the same way as you, blown away from the lyrics and quality of this platter. Thanks once again for the background on this artist that is new to me. Yeah it left me wanting more.

Nice one, P!
I guess I had missed this before, love it.
There is not too much out there about Shandi, hopefully she made some other LPs that can be shared in the future. One of her aliases is Shandi Sinnamon if that helps.
She also contributed two tracks to "Making The Grade" (1984) - link below
which is Judd Nelson's 2nd film (according to Wikipedia)
and Andrew "Dice" Clay's first.
Thanks for all the cool tunes!
