Adam Mitchell - Redhead in Trouble LP 1979
A big thanks to ClassicMusic20 for sending this in ready to post. I know it was him after reading the discog's bio on him as he is a big fan of the country rock of Nicollete Larson he told me not long ago. Here is the write up: Adam Mitchell (born November 24, 1944 in Glasgow, Strathclyde, Scotland) is a Canadian-referenced singer-songwriter, most notable for writing "French Waltz", which was a hit for Nicolette Larson, "Dancing Round and Round", which was a hit for Olivia Newton-John, and for his later co-writing work with KISS. https://krakenfiles.com/view/WiqbQHE2Nw/file.html

Adam was also the lead singer of The Paupers...a Canadian band that released 2 albums in 1967-68.

Ok, He's mostly a songwriter/producer., Prior to the that, He was in a band from Canada in the late 60s called the Paupers. He produced the early Ian Thomas Albums, has written songs for Kiss, Peter Criss formerly of Kiss, Eric Carr, also formerly of Kiss, Anne Murray, Linda Ronstadt, Waylon Jennings, Colleen Peterson, John Waite, Paul Anka, Randy Van Warmer and a few of his songs off this LP like "The French Waltz" was Cut by Nicolette Larson, Art Garfunkel, "Fool for Love" was cut by Anne Murray, Lynn Andrson and Johnny Lee, and "Out Among the Stars" was cut by Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Adam's album here (Redhead in Trouble) features a load of talent like Linda Ronstadt, Toto, Jennifer Warnes, Waddy Watchel, Buzz Feiten and Neil Larsen (Larsen-Feiten Band if you remember their song 'Who'll Be the Fool Tonight") Marcella Detroit (Whom was Marcy Levy at the time, Eric Clapton's and Bob Seger's backup singer, went on to join Shakespeare's Sister) and was produced by Russ Titelman (Steve Winwood's producer) Adam's version of "Fool for Love" was a hit in Canada.
