Harry Belafonte - Mark Twain and other folk favorites LP 54 w The Islanders Sings Five Early Songs LP w Calypso LP 56 w Belafonte LP 56 w Sings The Blues LP 58 w Love Is A Gentle Thing LP 59 w At Carnegie Hall 2LP 60 w Returns To Carnegie Hall 2LP 60 w My Lord What A Morning LP 60 w Jump Up Calypso LP 61 w The Many Moods Of LP 62 w The Midnight Special LP 62 w Calypso In Brass LP 66 w An Evening With H.B. & Friends CD 97

All in all these Goodwill finds were in fairly decent shape but the older ones had minor groove wear from old heavy stylus cart's that I usually cut out but can get tricky affecting the tempo so can always go back and fine tune but had to complete for this post in time.  Hadn't heard much of his music but it really is magical with theme albums in other genre's but his core content is the Calypso from the Caribbean scene back then (see original song versions for some below in VA - Calypso Capers comp album).  Loved the second double live featuring Miriam Makeba and on below post for an album he helped produce bringing her to America from S. Africa as well as Bob Dylan's second vinyl appearance ever on 'The Midnight Special" album (first was with Carolyn Hester) .
