VA - ZACHARIAH OMPS LP 71
Got this the other week after seeing it on an ABC records sleeve. Such a great label I have been discovering over the past month and have the Cottonwood - Camaraderie album on the way also seeing it at the same time. I pulled my huge Joe Walsh collection out of the back shelf since the James Gang have a couple tunes on it as well as what Doug Kershaw I had and of course The New York Rock And Roll Ensemble and Country Joe all below. Missing stuff by Jimmie Haskell and White Lightnin' (assuming a different band from the MN band I posted White Lightning who you gotta hear if you like Hawkwind).

Thanks for this.
Zacariah is a movie that I have loved since I first saw it back in the early 70s. Based on Herman Hesse’s Siddhartha written by Firesign Theatre alums Phillip Austin & Peter Bergman. All the musicians (James Gang, Doug Kershaw, Country Joe & the Fish, & more) appear in the movie. If you have seen this, check it out.
Glad to have the soundtrack even if these aren’t my go-to bands, listening to it makes me want to see Zacariah again, which I will do now.
I love this album. I bought it off a rack in a liquor store. Remember Those? They all had one. Bought it for the Fish & James Gang songs. The James Gang songs have now been released on a greatest hits album. Jimmy Haskell goes back to my Soupy Sales albums I had as a kid. I hope you've seen the movie. It's by the Firesign Theatre.
By the way. The guy singing on the James Gang song is a guy that lasted about a week in James Gang history. It's not Joe Walsh. At the time Joe was tired of being lead guitar & lead vocal. This guy was fired soon after this.
Haven't watched that movie in about 20 years. Time to slip it in the machine again.
Been after this one for a long time, since I moved on the record collection 10 years ago without making a digital copy. Thank you.
Muchas gracias, amigo. Saludos.
