Mylon had an interesting career! This is a long story and I hope you can read it through, Mylon started out his Family Gospel Band The LeFevres, he also wrote "Without Him" Which was Cut by Elvis. He ended being kicked out of his family band because of his sideburns (Haha) he ended up going on his own and forming Mylon and cutting this album "We Believe" and Fun Facts: The backup band went on to become Atlanta Rhythm Section (Mylon even did backup vocals on their song "Doraville") Mylon ended up moving into Rock Music and cutting a few Rock Albums! He teamed up with Alvin Lee (from Ten Years After) and they had this album called "On the Road to Freedom" and that has tons of talent including George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Mick Fleetwood, Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Mylon worked and opened with a bunch of guys including Little Richard, Tina Turner, Elton John etc. But the sad part is that drugs took over Mylon's career, He started doing them way young before the rock & roll life, and became very addicted in the 70s, he partied hard, almost died of an overdose, The reason he did that album with Alvin Lee cause he wanted to avoid getting busted for drugs in America and Alvin invited him to the UK to live with him. Now in 1980, After attending a 2nd Chaper of Acts concert, He said he was 'Saved' and he stopped Rock & Roll and never looked back. After that, he got a job at his church as the janitor, and then he meets these guys at bible class and they formed Mylon & Broken Heart, which had success on the Christian Charts. It's cool Mylon got his life back together, But here comes an interesting part, So in 1990, While on the road with Broken Heart, Mylon has a Heart Attack and survives, But doctors urge him not to tour, but he finished it anyways. While on the beach, he meets televangelists Kenneth & Gloria Copeland (Whom are controversial figures, Kenneth conned people and owns a mansion and these expensive jets! and also back in 2020, he claimed he got rid of covid by spitting at the camera) And Mylon claims that they healed him over his Heart Attack and started liking their prosperity teachings! He started teaching their teachings at his church and his audiences didn't get it, Mylon's wife didn't get it either and Mylon ended up leaving the church and his wife, And Kenneth & Gloria introduced to him this younger woman, whom is younger than his daughter and they ended up marrying each other and since then on, Mylon has been working with Kenneth Copeland and is on his channel and teaches Kenneth's way of teaching on there. I don't know what happened there, Mylon's life turns upside down with Drugs then he gets himself back together and then he forms Broken Heart, Then ends up leaving music to work with Kenneth. So yeah, On the latter part, You should check out the album he did with Alvin Lee! I've heard one of the tracks on Youtube and it's pretty good
