VA - NOVELTIES [TIME-LIFE] 2 CD 99

 Don't know about you all but I have really loved from an early age these type of songs from Dr. Demento's weekly radio special mainly but believe it or not were once played on a radio station for all.  Used to collect Wacky Packages back then  and the coolest memory is that Wonder Bread used to put them in their loaves of bread and my mom wouldn't by that 'balloon bread' as my dad called it for our family of ten but anyway my best friend had parents who would buy it along with all the Hostess snack cakes we couldn't have usually--but the homemade treats my mom made were tons better.  I suppose when I almost died one night from mumps closing up my breathing passages and was rushed to the hospital one night after reacting to Captain Crunch Crunchberry cereal with a particular red dye (that Checkers fast food still uses in their strawberry shakes that I avoid) my mom took an early skeptical view of the food marketplace especially since she could make stuff better through our complaints.  I also had a long subscription to MAD magazine throughout my public school daze along with paperback books I inherited from older brothers and sisters.  This is such a great collection I found at Goodwill but have posted many vinyl rips of the songs by:  The Chips, The Cheers, Rolf Harris, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, The Coasters, Dodie Stevens, The Olympics, Buzz Clifford, David Seville, The Hollywood Argyles, Nervous Norvus, Napolean XIV, Brian Hyland, Lonnie Donagan, Buchanan and Goodman, Big Bopper, Trashmen, Larry Williams, Royal Teens, Johnny Preston, Sheb Wooley, The Cadets, The Detergents, Ray Stevens, Bobby 'Boris' Pickett, Larry Verne, Pat Boone, The Playmates and last but not least David Seville and the Chipmunks!  https://krakenfiles.com/view/yrFKnxeggv/file.html
