REPOST and ADD ON: Had to get the 'Sweet Freedom" album for cheap on discogs when my same Meta vinyl group that posted about the bottom three as the best added that. The first silver album shown I had found at Goodwill but couldn't identify the year as I didn't see it on Discogs. Top group!

Hi, the record and the song are called "Sweet Freedom". The "Sweet Emotion" guys are 'Aerosmith'. But thanks for uploading, anyway..........!!!
They remain underrated to this very day...They should receive as much praise as Deep Purple !
Thanks for sharing all this wonderful music.
Hello VCMD... That 1st album you have there IS their US debut from 1970. It is confusing in this instance because it came out on Mercury in the US as self-titled, but for the rest of the world was issued on Vertigo with a different title and cover art. Also, there was one song substituted.
I am guessing this is the one you have... (see the notes)

To help in a future situation, this may help you...
Look for the record number on the label or cover...
Here it's Mercury SR-61294... or even just SR-61294
You can always search Discogs for this but I've found it helpful to just Google it in case it may not exist in Discogs and your chances are better to find it using the whole web.
In this case if I Google SR-61294 the Discogs entry is the first to pop out. Yea!
Short of a Best Of... for a better-rounded set of this band you are missing a couple between the 1st and 2nd ones you have, from 1971 and 1972.
I am NOT requesting those, just an FYI.
Apologies for the lengthy comment. Thanks again VCMD!
Hey there mrRadio thanks. I've had to do that type of search in the past once and recently with a partial jacket I found at Goodwill with the US STEEL logo and a comic book missing pages with no front cover at all. Luckily on back was tiny a word in all caps (with a number after it) identifying which record label it was while looking totally generic. Found that record label on Discogs and the only release posted was the record I ended up buying and will post soon. Got lucky there. Yeah, on the Uriah Heep repost I realized I didn't have a date for that silver one I found at Goodwill but have a lot going on and didn't think to do that seach so a BIG THANKS for doing it for us. Those are good years you mention for music so I will have to seek out in time. Thanks for your comments. CHeers!
