REPOST Request: Well, I missed T.S.O.L. and Flipper recently due to van impairment but seeing light at the end of the tunnel finally getting it fixed and now H.R. is coming back to town in November to celebrate!! Good timing on the request. I've seen HR first in St. Louis, MO in the basement of a Victorian Mansion with a guy who is my boss now while on a factory sales trip, then in St. Paul after biking there early and helping an interview while in his car (he gave me a confiscated fan video to sell) then last time here in Tampa. Of course I've seen the Bad Brains a few times and love both equally.

Let's see ...
It's About Luv EP w Keepin' Out Of Reach EP
- skipped due to weird format and low bitrate this time. no problem. i can wait.
Viva Azania LP
- oh boy, what a Mischung, what a MERSH product (like Meat Puppets on Monsters). they went for pop formats of the 1980s for no reason at all but their own fancy. or a joke! raw deal was/is THE deal, and always will be. that said, HR's voice is uplifting one way or the other.
Singin' In The Heart LP
- this one is slightly better. marred mostly by title track that could have entered mainstream synth pop charts. kill the synth player, let the sax player live! that said, simple ditty like 'Treat Street' tickles my heart in a pleasurable way & makes my feet wobbly and ready to skank.
I like the next LP - Charge - without reservation.
As always, many thanks!

He wasn't wearing it at HR but at a Bad Brains Halloween show in Malibu that year I lived out there and was prosted that whole year with my old hero bands playing like it was no big deal. Wow, HR last time GAVE ME A DVD of his helmeted show they had just done in a NY club/mansion! He said he had got from a fan and that I could try an make some money from it if I chose (by that time he invited me into the tour car with a hiphop local producer that was going to interview him but I have followed HR since that KOR EP came out and so I helped along the interviewer kid a lot while I shared with Joseph what he called the 'purple' or highest level dro' to my foster parent if you will, the first! Postscript is that i posted that show in NY mansion and it was huge on my old youtube channel. Now meh local supplie is the biggest HR fan and has more than me that he gets at googleplay i guess? Last I have is what is here so share if you like to an old rasta!

Thanks Rasta! 1st time saw H.R. at Green St. Station in Jamaica Plain, Ma. w/Blind Idiot God! WOW! Man that was late 80's I think... I saw him also at Woodbury Raquet Club in Ct. Then I saw him randomly at Meditations reggae show at Biddy Mulligans in Chicago. Man, am I really going back in time. And saw Bad Brains at the Channel in Boston back in the day as well... Hope HR is getting back to his olde self and yeah saw that doc it was kinda sad to see him in decline. Peace. Odie Boy
