They came to prominence during the New Wave before splitting after their third eponymous album "Doll by Doll" recorded 1980 but long delayed due to contractual reasons. Serendipitous - I was just reading about Jackie Leven and Doll By Doll in this month's Mojo and have the first album on cassette, in a box, somewhere.
