SNOW WHITE AND ROSE RED as told by Paul Tripp LP 66
While visiting for my dad's funeral a couple of weeks ago, my little sister Molly remembered this album that us eight kids liked to play in the early years so I got it! The part I remember was the elf with the long beard's voice that kind of scared us. A classic! https://gofile.io/d/3bNNBR

I know you have lived in the upper midwest US, but did you grow up there? This is the first I've ever heard of "Rose Red"
Yes, I grew up in a family of 10 in a first tier suburb of Minneapolis (next to a family of 11 and a block full of kids for block games night and day). Yes, I had forgot the 'Rose Red' name in the title and thus never could find the album on Discogs until my little sister who absolutely adores all Snow White related things remember the name in the title.
I was skeptical about how "scary" the elf was going to sound until he started laughing. That actually is kinda frightening!
Sorry about the loss of your dad... it hurts, lost mine last year.
