OH MY GOD! I saw this post the other day and didn't think I recognized the band, but then I got curious and looked them -- and found out that they do the song "Up Periscope!" I LOVED that song when I was in high school! Every time they played it on the radio (which wasn't often), they never said the name of the band, just the name of the song (gee, thanks, Mr. DJ, I already knew that from the lyrics!), so I never knew it was by Novo Combo. I am SO HAPPY to have a copy of that song thanks to your upload! YOU ARE THE BEST!

woow... thanks for this obscure pearl..this band is great!
i'm not now into rock, but they're top class musicians..
clearly influenced by Police,
they got very good taste for songwriting and arrangiaments...
i dig a bit deeper and discovered in Discogs the bass player is my beloved Stephen Dee!!
of whom i ripped the 1977 lp produced by Daryl Hall...
here's my lp rip for the blog:

ps:
the rip is perfect, only 1 skip at 3:05 in track 03 We Need Love
