SCREAMING TREES and MARK LANEGAN (REST IN PEACE)

A great man has died, Mark Lanegan the voice of Screaming Trees.  The compilation has a couple Mark Lanegan songs you may want to listen to first as they really show his emotional genius and will perhaps leave you yearning for his later works.  Rest in peace...

Hey VCMDoYT! Thanks for the Screaming Trees rips! Up to early 1990s, before major label, ST were better than all Sub Pop 'grunge' bands combined. Looking for 'Buzz Factory' and 'Other Worlds' rips ...

Yours truly, d.

I'm really feeling the loss of Mark's unique voice, the beautiful music that he made with Screaming Trees and in his solo career, as well as the open-mindedness to venture into many different styles of music as a guest with a huge variety of other artists. It really is no exaggeration to call his music the work of an "emotional genius".

Just adding my agreement here to all. Screaming Trees are great. Lanegan's solo & guest work is broad in scope & vast in depth. Sad loss.
