REPOST Request: Not a bad request for Halloween as I read what I wrote before: "This bands first two songs were hits and were about a band member's girlfriend who visited them in the practice studio...these songs were "Walk Away Renee" and "Pretty Ballerina". Great inspiration for a band considered the "American Beatles" at the time with a unique concept of baroque harpsichord and strings backing music with haunting vocals." Wait...I thought the Lovin' Spoonful was called that!

I absolutely LOVE this band! Love the baroque sound of their music, and wow, Steve Martin was one GREAT singer! Did you know that keyboardist Michael Brown was only 15 years old when he wrote "Walk Away Renee?" Such a young age to write such a perfect song! What a talent!
