I agree that there's some great stuff on the soundtrack, but DO NOT waste your time with the movie. It's a lame-ass remake of the classic "Wings of Desire," directed by Wim Wenders. The original film is SOOOOOO much better. It's in German with English subtitles, but it is SO worth having to "read" the film while you watch it. It's one of the most incredible films ever made. No remake can ever live up the original.

Hey, Viacom, if you're a tv fan, this might interest you -- Columbo himself, Peter Falk, is in "Wings of Desire." Actually, that's what got me interested in seeing the film years ago, because I loved "Columbo" when I was a kid (and all the tv movies after that). And as a bonus, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are in the movie, too!
Wow Angsty!! I am a huge Peter Falk fan and have actually been collecting his movies as I see them at Goodwill for tears...even found the complete Columbo box DVD set and used to watch the show like you when it was new. Thanks for confirming the title again too!
