No sooner did I read that the Allman Brothers really didn't leave behind very much live video concerts and then I find this Goodwill DVD in my stacks of an incredible live show from 1991 in MA with none other than our favorite around here Robbie Robertson from the Band showing up at the end to say a few words as the host of this excellent Japanese TV series. I knew somebody would like it and after all Dickey's a current neighbor more or less. Found the case it says On September 6, 1991 (great year btw!) The Allman Brothers Band "Shades of Two Worlds" tour rolled into Massachusetts Great Woods. What started as a video recording of a few songs for the Japanese TV program "The Full Moon Show" evolved into an hour long feature broadcast. We, The Allman Brothers Band, were so excited by our performance(and the video recording of it) that we've decided to share all of the songs that were recorded with our fans who keep coming out night after night to see the band play. You are as much a part of this video as we are.
Yesterday I was watching MST3K, and they were showing this horrid biker movie "The Sidehackers." I have the soundtrack, which is actually sort of cool:
