BESSIE SMITH - BEALE STREET MAMA CD 93

Really love finding these old blues artists CD's at Goodwill.  Actually had forgotten that I still have a two full length cassette boxset by her that was only Volume One so she had quite a bit of music and I will repost this with those two long cassette rips when I have time to do them.

did I not include the link or would you rather not post it on your site? I was including it more for you than the public.

Todd I appreciate your concern but I haven't had a chance to hear what she sounds like yet (I rip the CD's on my freeware but cannot hear it unless I put in car but CD's don't play right since I went back a few years in technology on my van that I got to replace my 2013 Kia Soul from an accident (wanted to fit my bike in without taking off the front wheel and scratching up the old hatchback) from 2010 so now instead of CD's playing and showing full title it plays so I don't know what I am listening to, for example: shows TRACK 1, TRACK 1, TRACK 1, then TRACK 2, TRACK 2, TRACK 2...so I only choose I CD every week and this week it is the band BLACK that I just posted. Do you think it is worth it? I liked the Willie Dixon CD from Chicago scene I posted a few months ago because a song totally hit the mark and spoke to me and I had never heard Willie...mainly only was into Lightnin' Hopkins and John Hammond from that New York scene. Where was ole Bess' from do you know? What do you like about her compared to my likes? I got to see R.L. Burnside a few times up from Mississippi scene with other artists there and totally love that newer soul style. Clapton blues, B.B. King or Albert King also has appealed to me.
