 I guess having a hit band like the Temptations will get you some of the best songwriters and musicians in the business and you can really hear it here.  Highlights include his breakout hit song 'Keep On Truckin'' and the Boogie Down album helped start disco per the Wiki write-up.  But don't get him wrong, usually the later albums by some of these soul artists don't match up so well and I don't include them whereas here he stays strong to the end.  Lots of hidden gems from this top notch kind of guy!  I have the complete Ruffin releases from another blog and a couple to convert from vinyl soon.  Thanks to Antonio from Rocket Star Record store for letting me rip and return the Ruffin one.
