This one has some absolute gems that you really don't see anywhere else except old radio station comps like this one. It was also an absolute backbreaker for me to take out all the extraneous noises (i.e. normal recorded music is a curve with blank underneath...after my cuts every few seconds it is solid blue) but they were the kind that don't really affect the sound at all (not like those damaged ones with skips or bumps). I used all the tricks in the book to get great sound: (1) old worn needle that sinks deeper into the groove to avoid the surface gunk on older records, (2) slightly lower record volume to eliminate noise layer, (3) and of course cutting out EVERY pop/click manually for pure sound. Anyways, this is why not many posts this week, thought you should know.
