Saying that I love this record would be like saying that the Atlantic Ocean is just a tad bit wet. I remember the day I bought this. I already had the "What Do All the People Know" single, and I'd played it until it wore out! So when I walked into Camelot Music and they had ONE copy left of the EP, I grabbed it and didn't let go! Bought it within ten minutes of going into the store, took it home and played it non-stop for about a week! I love the aforementioned hit single, but I have to say that "Pay Pay Pay" is my favorite track on the record. But all five of the songs are great, and I've never been able to understand WHY this band wasn't huge. They were terrific!

great album. I listen and listen and listen to this one. Played it to pieces in my dorm room, and nobody had ever heard anything from it. I didn't care.

I think the Monroes link here actually goes to the Moirs - State Of Shock, the post that is immediately below the Monroes. Each post has the same link. If there was any chance to get the Monroes up and working, that'd help re-live some old college days and be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'll give you away my patented process I use around 30% line-in volume on the computer to cut out the loud ambient then max volume at the needle of 10 mV on my Ortofon S-120 (part of my complete 'D.J. Gear few Numark TT-100 and cheapo Gemini DMX $15 dual channel (1 cassettes and 1 phone w ground) crossfader too preamp now as a more mobbed Stanton M-203 $5 I got at Sam Ash not Guifar Center who had started me but yeah the Stanton was just missing the power cord. I get my spray bottle method for improving the fidelity w Gruv Glide alcohol based after cleaning w 3 different common brush types and I first spray record in 3 or 4 equal spots w old days RCA D4 or Pfan-stat No. SA-14
