GLASS MOON - st LP 80 w Growing In The Dark LP 82 w Sympathetic Vibration LP 84 w DAVE ADAMS - Dancing In My Sleep LP 86 w Dave Adams' GLASS MOON - Moon Hits And More CD 05
REPOST and ADD ON: Added the CD per sound advice from Angstytimelord who let me know the hit song from Dave Adams' solo had a lot of pops to cut out so now we have it a cleaner version. Looks like I may need maybe one other Glass Moon otherwise this will cover it. The three vinyl albums have been reposted many times due to how good they sound. Enjoy! https://gofile.io/d/Zxokn7

I'm glad you like the album, but sorry that what I think is the best track on it is in rough shape! I know that you can get a cd copy of the song on "Moon Hits and More," which is going for a decent price ($9.99 for download, I think) on cdbaby. If you're into Glass Moon as well, that's one to have, since it's got a lot of their best songs on it.

Just by accident wanting to hear the self titled album name song realized you uploaded the whole LP.
Been looking this for years, almost thought about buying it but since LP is not my thing nor I know someone who could make the transfer for me (not even paying) had to give up so I'm eternally thankful for sharing this.

Followers of the DU blog have sent me records in the past that I have converted for them at no charge--I always just want to hear new stuff to add to our collection and that is enough reward. Thus feel free to do the same just leave a comment somewhere and I'll find it and give you my address. Thanks for the comment.

So I don't usually tend to comment so much but I really wanted to thank you for this one specially. I've been looking Sympathetic Vibration like crazy for years and just yesterday got (after long time too) the 'Moon Hits & More' and now I see some of its tracks are included on this album but there are several I never heard before so I thank you a million for sharing the one!!

Oh man, this band was AMAZING. "On A Carousel" is one of those tunes you just can't get out of your head once you hear it. And Dave Adams' solo work is pretty great, too -- he did an album in the 80s called "Dancing in My Sleep" that's one of the best albums I've ever heard. The title track from that is PHENOMENAL. If you ever find a copy, grab it -- the entire album is an 80s pop treasure!

Guess what Angsty! I just bought the DA for $4.00 at Discogs based on what you just said. Thanks for those ideas, eh!

Really?! I hope you like it as much as I do! The title track is one of my favorite songs EVER. The whole album is pretty great, IMO. My personal favorites, other than the title song, are "What Do You Say, Say," "Tea & Sympathy," and "Tears," but like I said, the whole album just blows me away. In a perfect world, Adams would be a HUGE star.

Glass Moon's major label popular era is still so weird for me, as I'd known the original Glass Moon folks since high school in their then teen bands (which were epic in their choice of songs they covered & their incredible execution). Dave Adams didn't join Glass Moon til 1974 (tho he was a friend of theirs), and they of course didn't release any records till 1980, by which time I'd moved from Raleigh to high tech mecca Silicon Valley. Hearing their cover of On A Carousel on KOME here in San Jose in 1982 blew my mind when the DJ said who it was. Then I found out about their Solsbury Hill cover.
Original guitarist John Wheelis was up there the the best-of-best.
You can hear the original lineup live here, from May 1973:
