REPOST Request: I met Slim during his solo days (during his time with the Replacements) in the basement of the 7th St. Entry he invited me down as we talked and drank beers and he adjusted his guitars...what an outstanding individual as I had never been behind the scenes at First Avenue club before,. He also used to be in the Spooks with that timeless classic 'Laugh It Up' a perfect Halloween tune. Last I heard he had just released a live CD that I am looking to get along with his other album.

He may have "just released a live album," but you DO know he had a major stroke 8 years ago and hasn't performed since, right?
Thanks for update yeah they made me an ADMIN in his Facebook group around time it happened when I shared story with them. I just didn't have then skinny on that new CD. Search for benefit 12 EP that I also ripped which says it all. Thanks for clarity request as I write these posts pretty fast on work time where I can do it.
You should be able to get the CD of his "new" live record thru his Bandcamp page. That's how I got mine.
Thanks for the heads-up on the new Slim CD! Ordered a copy as soon as I read it existed!
