I bought about 15 of these back in the 80s when I had this sudden urge to hear music recorded before I was born. Only 10 tracks on each so total playing time under 30 minutes. Limited to artists on the MCA roster (or those labels they acquired - like Chess).
Overall the whole series is eclectic, you get anything from early RnR (Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley) through to proto-metal with Steppenwolf with plenty of classic novelty tracks like Nervours Norvus 'Transfusion' and the Royal Teens 'Short Shorts' thrown in.
