Thanks for fixing! I saw Slim do a solo show about 15 years ago. It was a solid boozy, Stones-style performance. He's an underrated artist.

Thanks. I checked a few things about the third volume and one interesting fact is that the Wad song "Chains" was later covered by Soul Asylum on their "Clam Dip and Other Delights" record.
More info also appears on the Twin Tone Web site which has a note about every band on this record. The notes must have come from the inner sleeve as they are written as if they came from back in the late 1970's.
It seems they will burn copies of records for you if you are missing any of their recordings.

I requested that you post Big Hit Vol. 3 a long time ago and I've been away for a while. But now I'm back and here it is! Thank you! I really appreciate your effort and all the great old Minnesota bands you post!

Enjoyed the Pistons post from yesterday a lot. Now I really want to hear Big Hits of Mid-America Volume 3. Great looking comp, just from the Mpls bands I already know (many from your blog). Thanks if you get a chance to re-up!

Any chance on another re-up for this one? I saw so many of these bands back in the 70s

Thank you!
You have such a great background in the Minneapolis scene, any chance you have any Curtiss A around? Had him on vinyl and sadly garage-saled the LPs.
