Rod Hart - BREAKEROO LP 76

Was super thrilled to see this in the record store last week.   Remember the song from the classic double vinyl compilation 'Road Music' I had posted long ago.  This is the one with the 'faggy' voiced cop named C.B. Savage who tricks the truckers into a 'ticket writing party'...LOL.  What's funny is how Rod tries to bring that voice back into a few other songs like it's his vocal style or something.

Hi,

I think your site is great and you put plenty of great stuff on it but Gofile is a real pile of garbage. The bandwidth for some of the downloads is limited and keeps dropping out Worse still when it does drop out instead of showing in the browser as having failed it shows as complete so you don't realise its failed until you go to extract it. So far I have tried to download this three times and the last part of the Isleys megapost I'm up to 4 attempts so far.

I never have this problem with zippyshare or mediafire and mega (or any other file storage site I can think of). Can you think about changing because gofile is spoiling all your efforts with its lousy performance.

Just a follow up to my last post. It failed again. So has the rest of the Isleys. Two of the Sly and the Family Stone megapost, the Records megapost and the Jaggerz. All of them show as complete too

Gofile is a joke of a file sotrage site. Its got no bandwidth at all. Please change because this is crazy!

Heidi Ho You Jimmy Jammers You,

Sorry you are the only one complaining. Zippyshare takes more time for me as the links go down right after I post them. At least with GoFiles, they never go down until they expire which is quicker than Zippy. No one else complains as you do though kiddo so I'm thinking it is a personal problem on your end. For example you didn't buy good software file downloader or you just don't have one. So if it is a limited bandwidth, why now wait a couple of weeks to download the files...when it is not so busy. It's the nodal traffic you speak of and that gets worse with Zippy as the link actually goes down. Why not pay the monthly fee at MEGA using my existing account or you make one for me and pay the fee. I don't pay data fees, sorry. Organize with all your friend and chip in for an account for old Viacom. They always close me down.

Well it's your site, you've been told and I do not recall any previous situation where downloads report successful completion when they have failed, gofile are unique in that and I've been downloading for years (when Rapidshare and Megaupload were kings)and downloaded from pretty much every file share site you can think of and given the files in question are being downloaded weeks after you posted them that isn't a consideration either. If there is a problem my end its a problem specific to gofile but more likely its a problem their end with their handshaking because I do not have these problems with any other fileshare site

Furthermore, by the looks of it from gofile's homepage, its a one man band (all the first person singular references) which clearly is overselling its capability but more importantly if I were you I'd not rely on it to keep your files safe because chances are like so many smaller outfits for one reason or another its likely to disappear as abruptly as it appeared (there was one in South America not so long back that looked great for a while and then vanished).

In the meantime thanks for all the great stuff you post. I'll just have to be a little more selective when downloading it. I won't bother further on this matter

Yep, I just tried downloading it now and no issues whatsoever. Must be your end. Good luck

I have my copies so I could give a rat's ass whether links are up or down. I'm doing this to digitize my records. However, it seems my vision is going as I approach 52 next Monday and so my cuts are getting worse and worse I noticed...maybe just the vinyl is more beat up of what's left in stores. I will want to rerip the title track here.
