SNFU - And No One Else Wanted To Play CD 84 w If You Swear You'll Catch No Fish CD 86 w Better Than A Stick In The Eye CD 88 w The Last Of The Big Time Suspenders CD 91 w Watering Hole 7 93

REPOST:  O.K. catching up on tragic deaths from last week and here we have Mr. Chi Pig the singer who died.  Since SNFU was just over the border from our MN scene I did get to see them play a couple few times--one time Mr. Chi Pig sang while hanging like a monkey from the ceiling over the crowd.  Always a great show and the 86 album is one of my top ten favorites.  I grew up just having the first two on cassette (good sign as I wore my walkman during exercise and school so only the best on cassette!!)  The others on CD I got here so thanks to Mark Underground for posting them and I ripped the later 7 inch which I still have and listened to last night and got choked up with the A-side 'Beautiful Unlike You and I'....maybe a good song to hear right away. R.I.P. to a Master!

Also going to post this about Terry Katzman, an old owner operator of the Garage D'Or record store next to Twin Tone studios where I got to know him during college.  He died earlier this year...R.I.P.

Awww. You posted the later cover, not the original with the kid holding the hand grenade.

That first pressing went for $100 on ebay a few months back. Almost convinced me to sell my copy.

Well I'm liking this post anyhow 'cus it's another like minded person saving me from ripping a cassette tape in this case with the original cover I might add in green. Oh well, I'll have to get my act in gear and get a' postin' my records soon. I got into SNFU during "If You Swear You'll Catch No Fish" and when they played at the 7th St. Entry I was astounded my Mr. Chi Pig's antics such as moving along the ceiling rafters like some kind of monkey while singing intense hardcore! SNFU 1986: crappy lighting, but good songs in Windsor of all places! Thanks Mark.

Great band and nice blokes as well. Got horribly drunk with them after a gig with them once. Glass eating antics from club owner. 'Some fucker call an ambulance!' Entertaining evening.
