I first heard this incredible album on WHFS when it came out. "Driving Away From Home" blew me away. I ran out the next day and bought the CD. The whole album is full of awesome spaced out tunes! I hope this one gets downloaded often so others can check out this great record!

Yeah, kind of a pre-Manchester sound that is Stone Roses, Charlatans U.K., Inspiral Carpets, Happy Mondays scene as a planted seed since as he says in the song it is not far away where they're from.

Love this album, thanks! Been looking for the 1990 album 'Song', wondered if you had it and were happy to share. Cheers

When Indie was not yet Indie, long before Art Pop was called as such.. just good music on alternative radio shows (VPRO, Netherlands.. John Peel spotted this band also, rest his soul) and some years later on MTV in better/early times.

Hi -- Are you aware that It's Immaterial are trying to crowdfund the release of their lost third album, House For Sale? I've pledged, but am not confident that they're going to make their goal, so I'm trying to get the word out...

More Liverpool scene than Manchester, they used to get played a lot on the local radio (City & Merseyside). Rope is a great track. Hard to believe first Peel session was as early as 1981.

Any chance of a re-up of the EPs?
