REPOST Request: Thanks to Brian Guy for this fabulous original post (I added bonus rip) who said: A classic compilation from the late 80's featuring a lot of bands some who became popular like the Lunachicks and a lot who I don't think were ever heard of again. I have always loved this compilation. When I first got my record player that had the ablity to rip vinyl and cassettes this was one of the first things I ripped, this is a new rip as the old one suffered from a lot of volume and formatting issues.
Bands on this cassette release are: Bloodsister, Bloodsuckers from Outer Space, Da Willys, Deans of Discipline, Ed Gein's Car, Fastlane and More NcNuggets, Letch Patrol, Lunachicks, Norman Bates and the Showerheads, PMS, Porno Dracula, Reverb Motherfuckers, Fly Ashtray, George Tabb Experience, Ghetto Dogs, Hammerbrain, Holy Crow, Slugfest, Traci Lords' Ex-Lovers, and the Waldos.
The liner notes where done by Mykel Board and he runs down some pretty interesting things about the bands.
This was released on the ROIR label in 1989--which at the time was a cassette only label (which was pretty cool)--the last thing I saw from this label was an LP, so who knows.
Hope that everyone loves this as much as I do.

Yeah, I think this is a forgotten gem and there is a part of me that would have loved to have heard more stuff by some of the bands, but at the same time I think this is a great time capsule.

Man, I had this on tape around 1991 or so. Loud, nasty, and wonderful. Loaned it to a sort of friend and never got it back. Any chance of a re-up? Either way, thanks for jogging some great memories.
