Here is what I had written in reference to Jonder's (https://jonderblog.blogspot.com/) comment The 'Talking Heads' of Athens, GA? one might say. The newly added album sure has me thinking that way. I bought it two weeks ago after reading JONDER BLOG's excellent post of the Armageddon Records singles compilations Jonder had made from different blog posts. I put the singles in this download so thanks to him and be sure to hit up his link below to get the rest and the other excellent compilations he has done and on the San Francisco scene....blew my mind away how thorough he is with it almost every dang appearance Iggy Pop ever made with others or his cover songs!!!! Thank you once again for the kind words, and for the share! I will happily waste hours searching for music and trivia on the web, but I have little patience for ripping my own vinyl, so your work here is much appreciated. Speaking of trivia, the Method Actors were from Athens (not Atlanta), and singer-guitarist Vic Varney still makes solo appearances in Athens on rare occasions. I agree, there's a definite Talking Heads influence in his voice and his guitar style.

These guys are from here in Atlanta- always loved their stuff! They were always out at the clubs hanging around, but never seemed to be playing any gigs for some reason!
