The keyboards were played by Rob Hyman from the Hooters, who also co-wrote "Time After Time" with Cyndi (and he's the guy singing with her on the song). He's the main vocalist on the Hooters' hit "And We Danced," too. It's a shame that he never did any solo albums after the Hooters split up, because he's a FANTASTIC singer and songwriter. He's also written/produced/arranged for artists like Patty Smyth, Cassandra Wilson, and Dar Williams. A true Renaissance man.
