Thank you very much.
Yep, Shel was a fun guy alright, a littler creepy, but I think he played that up on purpose. A good writer and illustrator, I heard he told good ghost stories too. Much appreciated.
Many thanks
Hmm... Looks like the Zippy link's already dead. Worth another reup if you're willing. Thx!

Hi. Something is wrong with speed on Crouchin' On The Outside.
Sergej,
Do you mean how I recorded it? I've have direct drive turntable and it never gets out of synchronous speed. If you mean the download speed, I just tried it and no issue from the normal speed. A trick to use for zippyshare files is when the window first appears, click the download link on the right three times very quick before the ads pop appear. Let me know.
I've listened the same record on few others sites and there was little bit slower than yours.
I did as you same, but the result is the same for me.

The only way it may be off is if I bumped the sliding mix lever or something but I have done that and not noticed much of a change when slide all the way to the end but the LED's always show correct speed when that happens and that is a fixed physical readout independent of variance because it is direct drive and it has never been off and I do look at it often.
also that youtube video is from a 2011 CD rerelease and not from the actual vinyl that I used which is a better source. I don't remember there being any pops but when I cut those out with my software of course that area may sound a little funny but only if it is a wide scratch that destroys a lot of data. If a long scratch that repeats--and usually they do--then the song will show a shorter length and you would notice a bit of garble. I believe this double album was pretty well mint but I can't remember exactly and I don't own it anymore. Your answer--they slowed it down the CD rerelease is my best guess.
