WELL! Gots to thank the 'Dangerous Minds' facebook group who posted about specifically these two albums (that David Sylvain' tried to disown from his later Japan material. To use the DM word for David's attitude on these two albums from the same year....DISAFFECTED. Yes!! Love that kind of music....bulletproof. Some great keyboard sounds. Thanks also to the Discogs seller who I got both for a steal as they were much better than VG with a pop or two taken out by me and a black cover I could marker over! I have their later stuff I had gotten long ago from 80sonspeed blog that I can post later on such that these two stand out like they deserve!

It's a shame that Sylvian more or less "disowns" these two albums, because I think they're great. Japan was still discovering their particular sound and niche when these were recorded, and I think they're interesting albums because they show us a band that was finding themselves. Personally, my favorite album of theirs is "Quiet Life," but these two are awesome records and they're a MUST for anyone who's interested in the band.
