FAY LOVSKI - ORIGAMI LP 83 WEA

I don't know much about her but this is a very cool record with a 'variety of styles' as my old friend John used to say was what he liked about me.  Great sounding album here!

Wow, Fay....
I really was in love with this singer when I was in highschool...
Her real name is Fay Luyendijk. She was born in '55 (I was 11 years younger, but I didn't mind the age difference....)
She started recording in her bedroom on a 2-track tape recorder. By playing her already recorded part on 1 track and adding something new on the second track, she recorded 'sound on sound'. And that's also the title of her first album (1980). It was produced by Jona Lewie.

At first she was dubbed Fay Lovesick by her record company, but she didn't like it and changed it into the more cheerful Fay Lovsky. In 1981 she gathered attention in the Dutch media and released her second album, "Confetti". Also mainly recorded on her own.
This album 'Confetti', was released in 1983, with a fuller production. Two tracks, 'Don't Feed The Animals' and 'Ramon', were modest hit singles.
Her fourth solo album, "Cinema", didn't bring her the success she needed.
She joined the group The Magnificent 7, that focussed on playing film soundtracks. I kind of lost track of her since then, but she's still in the music business, making albums, playing in theaters, making music for children's programs etc. On a 2017 Kasabian album for instance, she played the musical saw...
(I've got eight more albums digitalised)

Howdy mrRadio,

Sorry for delay on repost as I only post stuff at work and not on grid at home except by phones. Link is restored for you on the Fay post!
Cheers

Viacom.. no apology needed. Only wanted to be clear I was talking about the file and not about the music or time as in "Where did (it) those days go?". Thanks for the kind explanation and re-up tho!

Yeah, I understand more of your question than WHY the new links go down. Maybe too many downloads at the same time or something but they should last until 30 days after last download or maybe longer now that Zippy gave me higher upload limit from 200 MB to 500 MB. 500 MB makes it so so much easier but some countries no longer allow them to download into their country. Would love to find a free one that stays forever in the cloud...
