Did you know that Danny Wilde, the genius behind Great Buildings, also had some success as a (fantastic) solo artist, and that he was 1/2 of the Rembrandts (of the Friends theme song "I'll Be There For You" fame)? Check out his 80s albums "The Boyfriend" and "Any Man's Hunger." Some absolutely INCREDIBLE music there, especially AMH. I think it's one of the great "undiscovered" albums of the 80s.
Wounded Bird reissued this fine album, and then followed up with a second CD of an impressive (and originally unreleased) sophomore LP.
