CARMINE APPICE - st LP 82

Never had heard of this former Vanilla Fudge drummer until I saw his name on the Roderick Falconer album Rules of Attraction above as Keyboard player!  Immediately pulled it out of the dollar album pile having just gotten it late last year then read up on him...turns out he co wrote Rod Stewart's hit song 'If Ya Think I'm Sexy' and was in that band and others below.  Loved seeing Vanilla Fudge live at our MN State Capitol several years ago and the Dickies covering one of their songs.

How could you be so knowledgable about music but be unaware of Carmine Appice? Aside from Vanilla Fudge & his stints with Rod he's also played with Cactus, BBA (Beck, Bogert, Appice), KGB, Eddie Money, Blue Murder, Pat Travers, King Kobra, Pink Floyd, Rick Derringer, Ozzy Osbourne, Rated X & Ted Nugent.
His younger brother is fellow drummer Vinnie Appice of Black Sabbath, Axis, Heaven & Hell, Dio, 9 Chambers & Last In Line fame.
We all have our 'blind spots', but i remain surprised that the Appice name has only just become familiar to you, but beter late than never.
