The Misfits - Coffin Box Set w Vinyl/Tape Substitutions w Invasion From Mars 7 bootleg w Live at Al's w Cough/Cool and Halloween from Actual 7

Well not a moment too soon to rip some of this stuff as one tune from the Samhain boxset could not be saved from disc rot.  No way I would make you listen to CD versions of stuff when I have on tape from vinyl with the complete frequency bouquet as it were since their sound is like that.  It certainly not guitar solos like my skater buddy would play on guitar from 'We Are 138" for a second and then we would laugh about it.  Glen however is a great fan of theater like Chris D. from the Flesh Eaters and his songs are vocal masterpieces that can be sung by the beginner crooner very easily as I used to do with my 'little sister' (city program) Raven on the way as driver for the old goth Mpls. Vampyre band (also made sure singer Cat's fire breathing was safe during shows).  I traded Mark Trehus at Oarfolkjokeopus Records before it was Trehus records then shut down a year ago for 'Bullet' 7 twice (!!) but during that time he taped all the Misfits original 7 inch singles he had so I included my favorites like Cough/Cool and Who Killed Marilyn but my stuff is packed away so none of my vinyl like Night Of the Living Dead (I have it autographed by Bobby Steele), Horror Business 7 or Bullet 7 were used since the box set seemed to cover these.  All that is missing from the boxset are the extra Evilive tunes from the LP whereas I used a vinyl to tape rip of the 7 inch instead.  The songs were released as a boot later after the LP reissued but I will save that with all the boots I have from here at the blog for another post (most of the rips there I didn't include were 128/160/192 bit rate).  Last Caress is also from the Beware 12 and my favorite of all time is the 'Invasion from Mars" boot here.
Oh yeah, I tried ripping my beat up second gen VHS copy of Misfits on cable show 'Why Be Something You're Not" but so bad it had time shift from vocals to picture but sound is great!  And and and I think it works out better this way as the footage is so jerky any way some gets slowed down
