Commenting on Jet, you mentioned a male singing on the first and a female singing on the second album.
Little wonder, since they are two different bands. The first one was formed in Monterey, CA, USA, in 1978 and the second one in the US in 1981. Just to set the record straight, since commenting is not possible on your blog.
Have a collection of over 30,000 LPs from the 1920s to 1979, glad to be of any help.
