Well with the repost right below of MAN it got me thinking of this Minneapolis band I got to see and hear in high school (really enjoyed the 84 LP with many classic songs!). Bob Mould from Husker Du produced the first album and they used to play with Breaking Circus as well as Husker Du and others.
