VA Kaleidoscope Presents The Exploding Underground Comp LP w Kaleidoscopic Vibrations Comp LP
REPOST Request: This is an AWESOME compilation series that used to originate from St. Petersburg Florida. It has some great neo-paisley power pop bands and believe it or not my friend John Kass from GoJohnnyGo on sidebar links interviews a favorite band around here..The Cheepskates! Also on here is the Blue Up? whose singer used to work at the Uptown Ragstock second-hand clothing store I would see her a lot and then she went on to become an early internet live-feed personality Anna Voog. Other bands: The Nicotine Spyral Surfers, The Grovellers, Los Negativos, AED, Dementia 13, Sex Museum, Viv Akauldren, The Bizarrettes, Nova Express, The Third Half, Peter Sellers And T.H.P., Electric Shields, Sandoz-Lime, The Sick Rose, The Birdman Of Alcatraz, The Projectiles, The Immediates, The Headless Horsemen, The Blacklight Chameleons, Robert Wegmann, The Blue Up/, The 27 Various, The Marshmellow Overcoat, The Mad Violets, The Cheepskates, Bill Bechtel and The Green Today. Some really excellent and important music but only the first one has a magazine but well worth the read!

I'm the guy who put out both Kaleidoscope Magazine and the two comp LP's. BOTH came with issues of the magazine inside...The Exploding Underground with Kaleidoscope Issue #3, and Kaleidoscopic Vibrations with Kaleidoscope Issue #4. I have an extra copy of Issue #4 (the magazine only) if you'd like it? I'm glad you liked what I did! Thanks and keep up the great blog!! All the best, Dennis Dalcin (editor/publisher).
