I like this grouping of later artists covering past artists to give a picture of how the jazz scene was forming (all piano here).  Past artists include Charlie Parker, Thelonius Monk, Bud Powell, Miles Davis Nonet, Tadd Dameron, John Lewis and Dizzy Gillespie.
