PRISM - Small Change LP 81

REPOST Request:  I actually was collecting all of their stuff but got rid of it for some reason until some poor kind soul like myself from my vinyl obsession group at facebook told me this was their best album, then saw it again in the cut-out bin for not much money so with instructions bought it and here ya go!  (now back to the sell pile...LOL)  I do remember one song on it from my grade school AOR radio.

Good LP by Prism but certainly not their best imo (all a matter of taste of course). The best is the Armageddon LP. PS: thanx for the Stiff stuff.

I completely remember having this LP when I was a young teen. The track 'Don't Let Him Know' was all over AOR radio and a favourite of mine back then. I recently picked up a CD 'Best Of' by Prism...from 1996. Thanks for posting this and so many other great artists. I've been trolling your blog for a few hours now. Adding you to my blogpost!

Thanks my fellow midwesterner. Just saw your blog and links for the first time after your comment. I have some Kissing the Pink stuff I will be posting so I downloaded what you and Madchester blog had. I still haven't heard them but liked the name. Lot of the stuff I am posting is from our Minneapolis college RADIO K (WMMR) and KFAI community radio that listened to since grade school so looks like we could overlap on stuff. Thanks for your comment and I will put you on our blog roll. Cheers!

GASP! How could you get rid of this one?! I LOVE this album. "Wings of Your Love," that was the B-side of the "Don't Let Him Know" single that RA Feutz mentioned, will always be one of my very favorite rock ballads. That song has always resonated with me, and Henry Small's vocal performance on it is nothing less than brilliant. This band was criminally overlooked when they were around. Nice to see that there are some fans here!

I know I know but over the years since 2008 I've had to sell to be able to buy more while I could sooooo some very very difficult choices I had to make. Plus the move out state really had to cut down to save myself strife from too many things to move by myself.

I understand that. I've had to make some tough choices as far as getting rid of some music and books in the past because I just had TOO MUCH STUFF. (I'm of the firm opinion that you can NEVER have too many good books.) And I understand the moving situation, too. That's why I'm trying to replace so much of my music with mp3s, because a lot of it has just disappeared over the years thanks to moving a few times. (And thanks to a former roommate who had very sticky fingers.)

@ Viacom, Brian or Nerd

Along the lines of this Prism, I'm also looking for a better than 192 version of their 'Beat Street' album...these 2 albums include Henry Small on Vocals and songwriting...I know very different from their original 'almost Pink Floyd cover band' type of sound...but Henry Small was the vocalist / violinist from Scrubbaloe Caine a great forgotten Canadian band that not only featured Paul (next of Streetheart than Loverboy) Dean on guitar and Jim 'just got kicked outta the Guess Who' Kale on bass. As well as a second guitarist, another vocalist/Keyboard player and some kick ass tunes...If these guys played southern Ontario we were there...so I have a deep affliction with anything related to Scrubbaloe. Henry also went on to play and tour with Burton Cummings, and wrote and and sang on John Entwistle (you know that guy that played bass with that lil combo from Britain)' album The Rock. Any help with Beat Street (>192) OR Scrubbaloe Caine (>VBR) OR Henry's band after shortly leaving Scrubbaloe, SMALL WONDER (2 LPs 1 Self Titled and the other GROWIN') would be greatly appreciated.
Matter of fact here's some examples of work that were associated with the aforementioned.
Scrubbaloe Caine - Round 1 (1973-192)

Streetheart - Meanwhile Back in Paris (1978 - 320)
