Environments - #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 vinyl or tape years of 1974, 1976 and 1983
REPOST Request: As it says, "The Healing Sounds of Psycho-Acoustic Sound" or "The Magic of" or "Better than booze and safer than pot" or "...The most imaginative use of recorded sound in the 99-1/2 year history of the phonograph" it is very true, they use actual recorded nature sounds and manipulate them...I got into a meditative trance while I was listening and then snapped out of it, so yeah pretty cool. Thanks to the person who requested these as I was able at last minute to get about all of them in the dollar bin and now I really don't see them anymore. Enjoy!!

Thanks very much. Years ago I woke up for a few weeks on a farm outside of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Never forgot the sound of the bird choruses in the morning. Wondered if I'd ever hear it again and was astonished to see it as a track in the Environments series. The recording nailed it perfectly.

Hello - thanks so much for re-uploading these. However, Environments 5 only includes half of the album. Thanks tho, much appreciated.
that is because I mixed and matched the best rips (tape or vinyl) from the three series which is really the same offerings on each...should have all of them. Side 5 had a repeat on the other side of a tape or previous vinyl.

hey viacomclosedmedown, cool blog ive been following for a while now. good to see these albums all posted in the same place. nice vinyl rips too... no complete set available online until now!
did you know that side one of volume #2 "Tintinnabulation" is designed to be played at any speed. 45, 33&1/3, 78, AND 16!!! the CD does 33&45, but thats it plus they speed it up digitally. dude. do you have 16RPM capabilities? this could be historic....

I commented back in Jan, but I wanted to say...I loaded all these on a little shuffle and keep it on my bed with a pair of headphones...your work is lulling me to sleep most nights when I'm not simply passing out...so thanks for that
I haven't tried to get 16 RPM but when I posted my Nash the Slash collection Lydia Lunchables sent me one of his Ep's that is the same way so it can be done amigos/amigas on your own PC. I don't have these vinyl or tape any more as I ripped and traded them off.
