JERRY'S KIDS - Is This My World? LP 83

Funny how someone on the blogs just the other day said this band never had a studio release but only live tracks...well I just found this in the store the other day and its a great studio LP.  The song "Crucify Me" brings to mind the skinhead band "Iron Cross" and other songs the vocals more akin to Halo of Flies.

I'm surprised no one knew about Jerry's Kids albums--ITMW is the best hardcore album to ever come out of Boston. They were also on the "Boston Not LA" comp (they recorded 13 songs in all), had a second album called "Kill Kill Kill" and a 7", "Spymaster" (cover of the old Boston punk band LaPeste). They also did a session in late 82 that's never been released.

Not sure where you're hearing Halo of Flies in this band's sound. HOF were always much more mod/garage/late 60s hard rock influenced and these guys were part of the original crop of Boston hardcore bands.

All you are absolutely right, I only meant that on a couple of tracks the vocals only sounded like Halo who came out in the 90's much later. BTW I love those type vocals!
