O.K. since we are on the topic of James White and the Blacks here is the first of two spin-off bands this one had Joseph Bowie.   Also very cool to find out that Vernon Reid is on the Thermo Nuclear Sweat LP you know THE guitarist for groundbreaking African-American group Living Colour.  Here is also another link for more info on Reid my homie as I saw the group a few times at First Ave Club
