I don't know about this one, guys. It was kind of a hodgepodge of flicks like "The Rose", "A Star Is Born", "Fabulous Stains" and at least a couple dozen other similar movies from the "rise to stardom ain't all it's cracked up to be" genre. Not original enough to be good and not nasty enough to have trash value. The chick sounds like a cross between Stevie Nicks and Mary Tyler Moore filtered through a robot. OK for nostalgia purposes, but I can see why this one got buried!
Thanks mate my old VHS tape ain't worth shit to watch these days. I appreciate your effort here. It's not such a bad movie no worse than The Fabulous Stain movie, and unlike that movie this did have some degree of success first time out. The singles from the soundtrack were big hits also. "Will You" has that brilliant sax ending wich I always liked.
By the way compare the intro to "Will You" and then play "Strange Little Girl" by The Stranglers sound familliar.
