Thanks Mark, i was too lazy to rip this one from vinyl! Bet you had good times there...shit! 8)
Thanks Bob,hard to believe it's still in circulation. If there is a problem with it being posted let us know.
Stogref,thank Jay IRC not I ;)
I did have a great time at that place.I saw pretty much every punk band from UK & US there.Met Wattie,Henry Rollins Charlie Harper + loads more...
Seriously, a couple hundred? That's crazy...never woulda guessed. I figured maybe a few hundred were printed and those were gone. I looked around, and saw "no longer available" a few times, so I figured it was OOP. Like Mark said, If you don't want it posted here, just say the word.
And leave an email addy, I'll put it on the post!
Oh, there is an email...I'm kinda slow today. :P
Well, I closed down Burrito records in 2008. Most of my leftover stock went to Ebullition, but I do have a few pieces left.
I don't mind it being posted but some might enjoy the actual record, which is heavy 140 gram colored vinyl. It also comes with an 8 page newsprint magazine.
I made 4,000 copies in 2002, so there are still quite a few unplayed copies in circulation.
My philosophy with Burrito was to make good records in quantities large enough that they would be cheap and easy to find for years to come. I'm happy to say that there are no "rare" Burrito Records, so you never have to look too hard or pay too much money.
Also, large pressings help me keep the cost per unit down. I believe these Hated Youth/Roach Motel LPs cost me just $1.78 each to produce in 2002, which is why I have been able to sell them for $6 post paid in the USA.
If anyone wants to order one, email me at sndidea@ix.netcom.com or send a postal money order to Bob Suren PO Box 3204 Brandon, FL 33509. Outside of the USA, please check www.usps.com for appropriate postage. I think the shipping weight with cardboard is about 12 ounces.
I still have a few Belching Penguin "85-88 Demos" 7"s left, too, for $3 in the USA and $3 plus shipping foreign.
Thanks,
Bob Suren
Alright, thanx Jay then, eheheh.
Well Bob, i got a copy of this cassette live you remastered and enjoy the actual thing for the inlet's pretty cool and the marble-grey coloured vinyl's really classy.
No hesitation guys, get your own!
Man, think i'm gonna order this Belching Penguin demos as soon as i can, thanx for the info! 8)
