Wish they would've redone "Wicked Women" that Roi Pearce sang on from the United Skins LP.

Not a lot of folks know that originally Saxby was the first vocalist for The Last Resort and Roi played bass. There is a demo with him on vocals that is out there chopped up on a few compilations and greatest hits packages.

I liked the early Warriors tracks with Roi on vocals but it seemed to me like they lost steam after this debut LP.

The Warriors are very much alive and have just released what is considered to be their best album to date incuding a reworking of Horrorshow and the Resort classic Working Class Kids with Saxby on vocals instead of Roi and a manic bluesy version of Eight Pound A Week - good listenable album - get it at www.thewarriorsengland.co.uk or visit their myspace page to hear tracks from it. www.myspace.com/thewarriorsengland

Elvis - You will find that Roi DID NOT sing Wicked Women - it was in fact Arthur - I asked Saxby and he confirmed it is Arthur
