Great blog over there at Punk Friction Longy...the Sham 69 stuff there rocks! Very formative band in my youth was sham as was Stiff Little Fingers.

I saw sham 69 when this record came out, guess it was a "comeback". they didnt go down to well, jimmy pursey was slagging off all the skins in the audience, from what i remember they had a brass section, and didnt play any old stuff, it was a bad night
Na it ain't going to be the same Mark but its only £8 so I'm not complaining.

Frantic,I didn't like the brass section either. They had some bird in the band then too when I saw them. Wierd!
Thankfully when they came here to America for a tour around this time or maybe a little bit before. When they played Atlanta, Georgia there was no brass section accompanying them. Although they played somewhat okay stuff and some older stuff from "The Game" and maybe one or two others squeezed in if I can even remember correctly. Moonstomp opened for them. All in all a good night.
