The dichotomy that is me

(Here is a picture I took of a painting in my office that an artist gave me in 1984 after observing me & my habits over a period of time.A native with high class taste. The appreciation of both the riches & staple of life.)

Pride place?
My office, where I have all the me stuff.Pics of me in the band, old flags,N.Y. Mets banners,an old Chelsea promo poster & my prized Amebix poster (the one that came with the "Power Remains" Lp :)

You know how it is when your married, your crap gets relocated lol.
Thankfully I have my own room for all that & for hanging out in.

Sometimes I think If it weren't for my office at home I'd be divorced....It's my refuge

I love that. What is the artists name?

:)
His name (I called him hof) was H.Felil Hofer.
A person I didn't really know,but he watched me.
These were the days when I worked the Charter Boat Fishing Fleet.
He would sit around the docks and paint.

I can't tell you how honored I was that he painted me.Not a rendering of my likeness but of my inner self.
Why me?...I don't know...But it is very cool :)
