I had some idiot questioning something I put on my blog a while back "I thought this was a punk blog" bla bla "why are you posting this shit" ect. I said because I fucking want to. That sums up 1) Idiots who label and 2) Why I am like I am. Its about Freedom.

When i was an angry young teenager - so full of dreams and hope- punk was an alternative to the lies and hypocrisy of the middle class (and my middle class roots). Individualism and solidarity...but it was a disappointment: Punks were/are the same people as the people i had been called enemies.
But I can't and will not quit and sometimes i say to me:" I'm proud to be a punk". I don't know what punk is or should be. Tell me the answer! Maybe i will find a medicine :)
Punk music is the more basic and loud rock'n'roll could be...

speaking your mind and blow some steam off!
There´s different factions in punk with different sounds,some of them also have different ideas and goals and they usually believe that punk is more than fashion or just a musicstyle. Some wants social change, some wanna practice the ideas of Do-It-Yourself. I can accept and listen to most of them but personally I don´t wanna condone those who strive for a system with a totalitarian rule neither left or righwing nuts. Anything doesn´t go. Punk is diverse as said and many bands see their music as a small contribution and vehicle for change in many different shapes and forms. All in all it could be a piss in the ocean but for most people it offers a release to speak their mind and I guess that it feels more important than to provoke people just for the sake and fun of it. Ignorance isn´t bliss and you can still think freely even if you find soulmates and share some viewpoints with them.
